DAYCARE
All Day Play Plus:
- All Day Play Plus is available 7am-7pm every day.
- Drop-offs and pick-ups outside of these hours will incur a minimum $25 additional fee. Pick-up after 7pm until 9pm, will incur a $25 late pick up fee. After 9pm, it converts into an Overnight.
- Early drop-off and late pick-up fees are waived for package holders; our late pick-up fee is waived until 9pm, then the stay turns into an Overnight.
- Late pick-up is not available during Peak Periods
- First time guests for All Day Play Plus must be socialized. Guests should be comfortable around large groups of dogs. In addition, for a great first time experience we ask that you arrive for your first time between 7am-8am
- For subsequent visits, All Day Play Plus guests must arrive between 7am-Noon or be enrolled in DayStay instead.
DayStay & One on One:
- DayStay & One on One are for a maximum of 12 hours and after 12 hours turn into an Overnight stay with associated charges.
Pre-Paid Packages:
- Pre-paid packages are only valid for payment toward their designated service and cannot be used for payment of other services.
- Pre-Paid packages cannot be actively shared amongst more than one pet, including pets of the same household.
- 10- and 20-day Daycare packages expire 90 days from the date of purchase.
- Monthly Packages for Daycare Services expire 30 days from date of purchase.
- Refunds are not offered on pre-paid packages. No exceptions.
RESERVATIONS
A reservation can only be confirmed if the following is on file:
- A valid credit card
- Proof of current vaccinations
- Guest Profile completed
- Acknowledgement of our Stay & Services Agreement.
Check-in and check-out is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and 365 days per year.
Room rates for a full night are incurred on a 24-hour basis from the time of check-in. After 24 hours,
- An hourly extended care charge is incurred based on the room rate.
- The hourly Extended Care charge is determined by the room rate divided by 13 hours.
After the additional 12 hours, the reservation will convert to an Overnight instead of the extended care charge.
Stays of 20 nights or more require a 50% deposit at the time of booking.
Reservations can be cancelled by Wag Hotels if the following are not provided, or care required for your pet is outside Wag Hotels scope.

BEDDING:
Wag Hotels provides bedding to all boarding guests staying with us.
We do not allow any outside bedding into the hotel.
Extra blankets can be added upon request. We also offer a variety of bed upgrades.
BELONGINGS:
We ask that if you bring your pet’s favorite toys they should be able to fit into a 1- gallon zip lock bag.
Medications can be administered by Wag Hotels staff but are limited to topical, ophthalmic, and oral medications. By leaving your pet's medication with us, you release Wag Hotels authorization to administer the medication as prescribed or indicated on the label. Medication should be brought in their original pill bottle with the name of medication listed, as well as prescribed dosage.
We do not allow any outside Kongs.
Food should be put into zip lock bags or Wag Hotels will transfer food into our own containers. No Tupperware, measuring cups, or food containers.
HEALTH:
Wag Hotels will not accept guests with the following:
- Guests who have a terminal illness and are in the late stages of that illness.
- Guests who require medical treatment beyond the dispensing of oral and topical medication (i.e., injections, drains, bandage changes, suture removal, etc.)
- Guests who are not capable of standing, walking, urinating and eliminating without assistance
- Guests who have severe heart conditions.
- Guests who have kidney or liver failure.
- Guests who have epilepsy and have had a seizure in the last 6 months.
- Guests who have a bite history that may put our team members at risk.
- Guests who are incontinent or require diapers.
If a pet has been diagnosed with a communicable illness (e.g., Giardia or Kennel Cough), Wag hotels will require Guest to wait a minimum of twenty (20) days following date of diagnosis or veterinarian documentation proving a clean health record after treatment and/or medication has been administered and completed. Wag Hotels reserve the right to decline reservations to Guests that may require additional assistance beyond our Specialized Care Program. Any Guest displaying signs of the following (but not limited to) will not be accepted: incontinence, severe lack of mobility, epilepsy, congestive heart disease, renal failure, kidney failure, diabetes, etc.
SENIOR GUESTS:
Guests who are 13 years or older require additional screening to ensure Wag Hotels can provide the level of care and comfort they need.
VACCINATIONS:
Vaccination documentation must be confirmed three (3) days prior to check-in for Non-Peak Periods and fourteen (14) days prior for Peak Periods.
Canine Guests
- All Guests, regardless of age must provide proof of current vaccinations against Rabies, DHPP, Bordetella.
- The Bordetella vaccine must be administered at least three (3) days prior to check-in if it has expired or has never been administered.
- CIV vaccine is strongly recommended at all locations; consult your veterinarian.
- Leptospirosis vaccine is strongly recommended at our Hollywood and Santa Monica locations.
- Puppies are welcome to use our services, as long as they are fully vaccinated with all required vaccinations.
Feline Guests
- All feline Guests must be spayed or neutered.
- For indoor only cats, a FeLV waiver may be signed by a vet and provided to Wag Hotels in lieu of the FeLV vaccination. The waiver is available on our website.
- All Guests must provide proof of current vaccinations against Rabies, FVRCP, and FeLV.
At-Home Vaccines
- Vaccines given at home will require the receipt from purchase as well as sticker from the vaccine bottle.
- DHPP, Bordetella, FVRCP, and Feline Leukemia are accepted at home vaccinations.
- Rabies must be given at a Veterinary office under the supervision of a licensed Veterinarian.
- DHPP, FVRCP, and Feline Leukemia will be considered current for 1 year from date of purchase.
- Bordetella will be considered current for 6 months from date of purchase.
Wag Hotels recommends that all Guests be on a regular internal (i.e., worms) and external (i.e., fleas and ticks) parasite treatment program. If external parasites are discovered upon check-in, a flea bath will be required at Client’s expense. Additionally, if internal parasites are discovered during their stay treatment by a veterinarian will be required and/or Specialized Care fees will apply.
CANCELLATION POLICY:
Non-Peak Cancellation Policy
- Cancellations which occur within three (3) days prior to check-in for non-holiday periods will result in a (1) night charge per guest to the credit card on file, regardless of when the reservation was made. To avoid charges, please cancel non-peak reservations at least three (3) days prior to arrival with Wag Hotels.
Peak Period Cancellation Policy:
- Cancellations which occur within ten (10) days prior to check-in for peak periods will result in $100 charge to the credit card on file, regardless of when the reservation was made. To avoid charges, please cancel holiday reservations at least 10 days prior to arrival.
HOLIDAY PEAK PERIODS & RATES:
Peak Period Rates – A $13 per night fee will be applied to any reservations that fall on the following dates:
- May 24 - 27, 2024
- July 3 - 8, 2024
- August 30 - September 2, 2024
- November 22 - December 1, 2024
- December 15, 2024 - January 5, 2025
DayStay and One on One Daycare programs are not available on these dates:
- Presidents’ Day: February 19, 2024
- Easter: March 31, 2024
- Memorial Day: May 27, 2024
- Independence Day: July 3 - 8, 2024
- Labor Day: September 2, 2024
- Thanksgiving: November 27 - December 1, 2024
- Christmas/New Year’s: December 20, 2024 – January 3, 2025
On above dates our daycare offering is limited to All Day Play Plus and guests must be picked up by 7:00pm.
Holidays with Minimum Three (3) Night Stay:
- Independence Day: July 3 – July 8, 2024
- Thanksgiving: November 27 - December 1, 2024
- Christmas/New Year’s: December 20, 2024 – January 3, 2025
Hotel tours will be limited or abbreviated during these Holiday dates.
PLAYGROUPS:
- An all-inclusive boarding stay at Wag Hotels includes two one-hour playgroup sessions daily.
- Guests attending our playgroups must be dog friendly, and have been properly socialized with other dogs before coming to Wag Hotels.
- Intact male Guests are not allowed to participate in playgroups but can stay at Wag Hotels if their Pet Parent selects our Specialized Care Program. Additional fees will apply.
- Unspayed female Guests are allowed to participate in playgroups provided that they are not in heat. If they are in heat or come into heat during their stay at Wag Hotels, they will be enrolled in our Specialized Care Program. Additional fees will apply.
- Wag Hotels maintains a diverse variety of playgroups in an effort to accommodate all Guests. Guests participating in playgroup must have the physical ability to run, jump, chase, be chased, or roll-over. If a Guest cannot or should not participate in playgroups, then our Specialized Care Program must be selected. Additional fees will apply.
Specialized Care Program:
- Wag Hotels Specialized Care Program encompasses two (2) categories: Behavioral and Medical. Guests placed into the Specialized Care Program may incur fees of $40-$60 additional per day. A Guest may be enrolled in the Specialized Care Program during their stay, at the discretion of the Wag Hotels staff, if needed for the Guest's safety, or the safety of other Guests.
- Reasons for the Specialized Care Program include, but are not limited to: Intact males, unspayed females who are in heat, Guests who are dog aggressive and display behavior that is not conducive to safely playing with other Guests, Guests who are human aggressive and display behavior that is not conducive to the safety of Wag Hotel's Staff, Guests who have medication or feeding needs beyond Wag Hotels defined schedules and Guests with stitches, or who are blind, deaf or lack mobility.
Property Damage:
- Wag Hotels reserves the right to charge an additional $75 property damage fee to Clients whose pets damage property in any of our suite rooms.
- Property damage includes damage or destruction of beds, walls, televisions, etc.
- To avoid the potential of any unexpected fees, Wag Hotels strongly recommends that Clients who believe their pet may cause property damage speak with a Wag Team member to determine the best room type and amenities for their pet.
Pre-Paid Packages:
- Pre-paid packages are only valid for payment toward their designated service and cannot be used for payment of other services.
- Pre-Paid packages cannot be actively shared amongst more than one pet, including pets of the same household.
- Boarding Packages expire 8 months (240 days) from the date of purchase.
- Refunds are not offered on pre-paid packages. No exceptions.
