If it is your dog's first time visiting us for daycare, the first day is complimentary! This is an evaluation day. Based on your dog's temperament and personality, our staff will recommend the best daycare regimen to suit their needs.

Daycare options include:

All Day Play Plus: A full day of play in a social group environment with other friendly dogs. This is a great option for dogs that love to romp around and explore.
Daystay: Up to 12 hours of care in a private room with two 1-hour play sessions. Your dog will enjoy a mix of socialization time in a play area and alone time to relax in their room
One-on-One: For dogs that aren’t suited for group play or prefer people over dogs, this option provides a private room and individualized play sessions with a trained pet caregiver.

If you are visiting us for All Day Play Plus, and it's your first time you will need to arrive between 7 - 8 AM to ease your pup in as one of the first dog’s to enter the group.

What are the vaccination requirements?

Dogs are required to have up-to-date Rabies, DHPP (Distemper), and Bordetella vaccinations. Dogs are strongly recommended to have an up-to-date CIV (Canine Influenza Virus) vaccine. Leptospirosis vaccine is strongly recommended at our Santa Monica and Hollywood locations.

NOTE: If the Bordetella vaccine has never been given, or has expired, it needs to be administered at least 3 days prior to arrival at any Wag Hotel.

Cats are required to have an updated Rabies, FELV (Feline Leukemia), and FVRCP.

If your cat is an indoor cat only, we will accept a Feline Leukemia Waiver. The waiver MUST be signed by your vet, and is available at any Wag Hotel.

Your pet’s vaccine records can be uploaded through your customer account from our reservation system. Our team will validate the records as your reservation requests come in.

Special Circumstances

Do you accept “human aggressive” dogs?

Do you accept “dog aggressive” dogs?

Yes, we do accept “dog aggressive” dogs for both Boarding and Daycare. Dogs who are staying with us overnight will be placed in Wag Hotels’ Specialized Care Program. Specialized Care guests enjoy individual play sessions one-on-one with a caregiver. An additional fee per day (starting at $50+) is added to the room rate for this program. Dogs who are staying with us during the day will be placed in our One-on-One Daycare program, this program provides guests individualized walks with a member of our team during the day.
